- dried prunes 200 g

- chestnuts 200 g
- pork 400 g
- lemon 1
- thyme 1 tbsp
- sage 1 tbsp
- parsely 3 tbsp
- nutmeg Β½ tsp

1Melt butter in a pan . Add onion and bacon and cook until soft. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

2Rehydrate dried prunes in port .

3Crumble bread . Mash chestnuts and chop the prunes.

4In a large bowl , combine bread, chestnuts, prunes, cooked onion mixture, pork , zest if lemon , thyme , sage , parsely , nutmeg , salt , and eggs . Mix thoroughly.

5Transfer to a buttered baking dish . Bake in the oven at 180Β°C for 45 minutes .
