- unsalted butter 227 g
- cream cheese 16 oz
- vanilla bean 1
- kosher salt 1 pinch
- confectioners' sugar 1 lb

1Brown the unsalted butter and add to the bowl of a stand mixer .

2Solidify the brown butter submerging the stand mixer bowl into an ice bath until opaque but not hardened and still soft.

3Add room temperature cream cheese to mixer bowl and mix on medium speed until smooth.

4Add vanilla bean to mixer bowl.

5Add a generous pinch of kosher salt and confectioners' sugar to bowl

6Pulse mixer to combine everything with towel over mixer to prevent spillage.

7Beat mixture until combined.

8Note: If the frosting is loose and won't hold it's shape, which can be confirmed by checking for a soft peak, refrigerate for 10 minutes while stirring the frosting every few minutes.
